SYDNEY RUNNING MARATHON (2016)
Festival organisers asked for submissions for music scores for their video promoting the 2016 Sydney Marathon. This score was my submission. Although not chosen, for me it captures the rhythm and elegant beauty of the runners. Stylistically in keeping with the ‘temp track’ the organisers had originally added, Ludovico Einaudi’s slowly building minimalist Pop Classical piece “Experience” - it also uses an overlay of repeating motifs but in a lighter, less intense way.
